Proof of Fairness is designed around a simple principle: every active and eligible miner receives the same opportunity to produce blocks within the mining cycle.
If 500 miners participate in a complete cycle, each miner produces one of those 500 blocks before the cycle begins again.
More computational power does not buy additional positions in the cycle.

DESIGN OBJECTIVES
Raw computational power cannot be used to accumulate additional turns.
If additional processing power does not provide additional turns, consuming more energy simply to overpower other miners loses its purpose. Computational efficiency becomes rational rather than escalation.
Older or modest hardware does not become irrelevant simply because another participant deploys a faster machine. The useful competitive life of participating hardware can extend further.
Proof of Fairness defines a deterministic 600-second block cadence. Unlike systems where a nominal interval represents a statistical target, UNFTCHAIN's interval is a protocol-defined cadence.

NETWORK INTEGRITY
Proof of Fairness incorporates a Sybil-resistance mechanism designed to enforce one eligible mining identity per participant.
Duplicate identity behaviour is automatically detected by network consensus. When detected, the affected identity is excluded from mining for 144 blocks.
If the conflicting identity attempts to participate again, the exclusion period is renewed. Repeated attempts can therefore extend the mining exclusion indefinitely.
The underlying detection mechanism is currently patent pending and is not publicly disclosed at this stage.
